Installing Windows Server on ESXi

With ESXi 5.5.0 I am using, Windows Server 2016 does not exist as a virtual machine. Therefore, create and install a virtual machine in Windows Server 2012.

If you mount ISO and boot it, you can install as usual.

Update from 2016 TP4

In my case I already used 2016 TP4, so I will upgrade this time. I can not connect with an error when connecting to Remote Desktop if the license has expired. (Sorry in JP's figure)

You can connect with the console. However, after logging in, a warning of out of license is issued.

Upgrade Windows Server

Mount the downloaded ISO file. Execute setup in the loaded one.

The version upgrade will be in the form of installing update program.
